Thanksgiving In Thessalonica (1 Thessalonians 5:12-22)
Joseph J Graber, November 20, 2016Part of the Christian Living series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
Thanksgiving is often a stressful time for families, traditions, relationships, and unfulfilled expectations can all play a part. But Paul says giving thanks in all things is God's will for us. Actually he said it to the Church in Thessalonica- and if they could be grateful in their circumstances we are left without excuse. Giving thanks is a Christian discipline that we must prioritize or our faith will become stagnant and powerless.
