Day Three: Solid Ground (Genesis 1:1-31)

In a startling claim, Jesus once said He did not come to bring peace but a sword and the entire history of Christianity seems to bear out all the differences that are caused by believing in Christ. In the first chapter of Genesis, God demonstrated how He brings division: when He creates solid ground here, the instability of water must exist elsewhere. This applies to light and dark, good and evil, and just about every struggle humanity has ever faced.
