The historical account of Noah and the Flood is used throughout Scripture as an example of faith, righteousness, and the judgment to come. God in His wisdom and creativity designed the story of the Ark to be a picture of the Cross and salvation.
The simple story of a loving God who rescues His people is repeated over and over throughout history.
