Following the Glory (John 17:1-26, Hebrews 12:2)
Joseph J Graber, November 9, 2014Part of the Gospel of John series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
Matthew, Mark, & Luke all mention Jesus praying an agonizing prayer of, "Not my will, but thine" in the garden on the eve of the Crucifixion. John records a longer prayer that contains multiple references to glory and being glorified. This message looks at the contrast in perspectives that are contained in these accounts, and offers encouragement for us to adopt the perspective of Christ while we are here on this earth.
