The Lion of the Tribe Judah (Genesis 38:1-30, Genesis 43:1-44:34)
Joseph J Graber, October 29, 2017Part of the Genesis series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
In Revelation Christ is referred to as "the Lion of the Tribe of Judah". In Genesis we read the story of Judah and he does not seem to be a good role model for Christian living. What is it about Judah, the 4th born of Jacob, that allows him to carry the lineage of the first born and to be included in one of the titles of Christ the King of kings and Lord of lords?
