Jacob Returns to Bethel (Genesis 35:1-29)
Joseph J Graber, July 30, 2017Part of the Genesis series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
The first time Jacob was at Bethel he basically vowed to God that if He would bring him safely back here he would serve Him. But then it seems that Jacob was in no hurry to come back. God protected Jacob and finally told him to go back to Bethel where Jacob then renewed his vow to God and God reminded Jacob of His calling and promise on his life. Is it possible that God has more for you than you are currently experiencing but He is waiting for you to turn your heart toward Him?
