Between Bethel and Rachel (Genesis 29:1-30)
Joseph J Graber, June 11, 2017Part of the Genesis series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
At Bethel Jacob was surprised when God revealed Himself to him, "God was in this place and I did not know it." Even after God's promise that He would be with Jacob it seems that Jacob did not consider God in his decision making process. As Believers we often find ourselves in a time that God has shown His faithfulness to us in the recent past and facing a new decision in the future. If Jacob would have stopped and prayed at the well before he met Rachel, how might his future have been different?
